Description	:	Funeral services were held at Second Reformed Church in Lennox on Friday, Mar. 7 for Norma Sinning, who died on Mar. 2, 2008 in Arizona. Officiating during the service was Rev. Dr. Harlan Hayunga. Organist was Shar Van Beek and soloist Brad Winterboer sang In the Garden and Just a Closer Walk with Thee. Honorary pallbearers were Allison Sinning and Cheyenne Jorgensen. Norma Jean Sinning, daughter of Toby and Marie (Schaefer) Boese, was born March 25, 1931 at Sioux Valley Hospital in Sioux Falls, SD. She grew up on a farm near Parker, SD, attended country school and graduated from Parker High School. She went on to get her RN Degree from Sioux Valley School of Nursing. Norma was united in marriage to Henry K. Sinning on January 5, 1952 in Parker, SD. They lived and farmed three and ½ miles SW of Lennox, SD. They were blessed with three children, Steven, Kathryn and Rebecca. In 1992 they moved to Lennox and spent their winters at Leisure World in Mesa, AZ. Norma worked at both Medical Clinic's in Lennox, and went on to work at the USD Medical School for 12 years. She also worked several years reviewing medical charts for Medicare, and worked part-time at the Good Samaritan Home in Lennox. She retired at the age of 62. Norma was a faithful member of the Second Reformed Church, and was active in many capacities and belonged to the Philathea Guild. She was involved in many organizations in the community including PTA, American Cancer Society, National Multiple Sclerosis Society, and many committees and activities in Leisure World, Mesa, AZ. Hank was the love of her life, which God blessed for 56 years. She cherished her family, the joy of their grandchildren and the miracle of their great-granddaughter. She was proceeded in death by her parents, and two sister-in-laws Francis Webb and Louisa Meyer and two brother-in-laws Wendell T. Webb and V.L. "Bud" Schlunsen, The Lord took Norma home on Mar. 2, 2008 at the Chandler Regional Hospital in Chandler, AZ. Grateful for having shared her life are her husband Hank, their children Steven and Patricia Sinning, Lennox, SD, their children Allison, Wolfenbuettel, Germany and Alex, Lennox, SD, Kathryn Savage and son James (Woody), Sioux Falls, SD, Rebecca and Doug Jorgensen, Lennox, SD and sons Nicholas and Bernadette Jorgensen and their daughter Cheyenne, Burbank, SD and Lucas Jorgensen, Sioux City, IA. Her sisters Donna and Robert (Andy) Anderson, Mesa, AZ, Judy Schlunsen, Marion, SD and brothers James and Sandy Boese, Mesa, AZ, and Richard Boese Mesa, AZ.
