Norma was born on September 9, 1944 at Wynot, NE to Charles “Carl” and Elizabeth Mary (Schulte) Goeden. Norma was born on September 9, 1944 at Wynot, NE to Charles “Carl” and Elizabeth Mary (Schulte) Goeden. She grew up in the Wynot and Hartington area and graduated from Holy Trinity High School in 1962. She moved to Omaha and married Boyd Stuvick on February 20, 1965 in Omaha. He died on January 30, 1966. Norma returned to Hartington and was married to Val Dean Dittman on August 19, 1967 in Hartington. They made their home in Coleridge until Val Dean was killed in an auto accident on February 2, 1977. Norma then went back to school and received her LPN Degree from Norfolk Community College in 1979. She worked at Osmond General Hospital, Park View Haven Nursing Home in Coleridge, and the Hartington Nursing Center until retiring in 1986 due to complications from multiple sclerosis. She entered Park View Haven Nursing Home in 1991, the Wayne Care Center in 1993, and has been a resident of the Golden Living Center in Wausa since 1998. Norma was a member of the St. Michael’s Catholic Church and Choir, and was a former EMT for Coleridge. She loved to read and listen to music. Norma was a devoted mother who always put her daughters needs first in spite of her illness. She had a very strong faith and accepted, without question, God’s plan for her. Norma is survived by 4 daughters and their husbands; Tammy and Mike Hoffart of Madison, NE, Bethany and Layne Childers of Ogallala, NE, Carla and Chris Wilken of Wausa, Tracy Dittman of LaVista, NE, 9 grandchildern, 3 great grandchildren, 3 brothers; Richard and Alberta Goeden of LaCrescenta, CA, Bill and Rita Goeden of West Point, NE, Omer and Kay Goeden of Tujunga, CA, 2 sisters; Alice and Richard Metzler of Waterloo, NE, and Lenore and Clarence Hoesing of Hartington, NE. She was preceded in death by her parents, both husbands, a great granddaughter, Ashton Hoffart, and 2 brothers; John and Roger Goeden.
