Norma was born April 2, 1911, at Beemer to Harry and Ida (Raasch) Nellor. She was baptized and confirmed at the First Lutheran Church in Omaha. She attended Cuming County Rural School District #21 and graduated from Beemer High School in 1928. She attended the Lord Lister School of Nursing in Omaha. She was an RN at Douglas County Hospital in Omaha and was an Industrial Nurse at the Alcohol Plant and Nabisco Plant in Omaha. On April 8, 1949, she married Dale Vierson at Omaha. She and her husband had resided in several parts of the country before returning to Beemer in 1985. Following her husband's death on Aug 9, 1997, she resided at St. Joseph's Retirement Community in West Point. She entered the Wisner Manor in October of 1997. Mrs. Vierson was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church in Beemer. Survivors include step-daughters Mary Ellen McNelis of Fontana, Calif. and Shirley Glaser of Albuquerque, N.M.; a brother Lloyd and his wife Janice Nellor of Beemer, and a sister Arrel Heitmann of Atlantic, Iowa. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and one step-daughter.
