Price, 80, Kokomo, died at 5:20 p.m. on Monday, Feb. 12, 2007, at Windsor Estates Nursing Home. His battle with Alzheimer's disease is finally over. He was born Jan. 17, 1927, in Kokomo, to Harry and Mary (Harmon) Price. He married Lottie Krissel on Aug. 12, 1948, in Frankfurt, Germany, and she survives. He served in the United States Army from 1945 to 1951. Norman retired from the Chrysler Casting Plant in 1991. He'd been a member of the Kokomo chapter of DUNK, the Kiwanis, the VFW and UAW 685. He loved to travel, his hobbies were fishing, bowling, euchre, photography, woodcarving, collecting stamps and coins, and he was a veracious reader. For years, he was an active member of Main Street Christian Church in Russiaville and was most recently a member of Bon Air Church of the Nazarene in Kokomo. Survivors include his wife, Lottie, Kokomo; two daughters, Renita and husband Layman Chesney, Warsaw, and Kathy and husband Dave Johnson, Russiaville; one son, Steve and wife Tina Price, Walton; one sister, Eileen and husband Clayton Duncan; and one brother, Bruce Price, all of Kokomo; eight grandchildren, Tommy, Mark, Steve, Brent, Tasha, Dan, Erin and Nolan; and 13 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Bill and Gail Price; and one granddaughter, Kelly Johnson. Services will be 2 p.m. Friday at Ellers Mortuary Webster Street Chapel, 3400 S. Webster Street, Kokomo, with Pastor Dennis Riggs officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery, Kokomo. Visitation will be held from 12 to 2 p.m. on Friday, two hours prior to the service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the church.
