Read More	Fremont Tribune March 4, 1992 Norman H Christensen The funeral services for Norman H Christensen, 74 of 2107 Hickory Lane, will be 11 a.m. Friday at St. Timothy Lutheran Church in Fremont. Mr. Christensen died Tuesday, March 3, 1992, at Memorial Hospital of Dodge County. He was a fork-lift mechanic at the Geo. A. Hormel & Co. in Fremont until he retired in 1980 after 24 years. He was born Feb, 15, 1918 in rural Fremont. He operated a body shop in Hooper where he lived before moving to Fremont in 1956. He was in the service from December 1941 to September 1845. He served in the Army Air Corp in central Europe during World War II. Mr. Christensen was a member of the Fremont Veterans of Foreign Wars Post No. 854, American Legion Post No. 20 and Parents without partners. He was a former member of the Fraternal Order of the Eagles No. 200 and former Boy Scout Leader. Survivors include a son Alan of Albuquerque, N.M.; two daughters, Terry Chadek of Omaha, Joyce Oberg of Fremont, four brothers, Ross and Dean, both of Hooper. Lyle of Fort Worth, Texas and Albert of Burley, Idaho, a sister, Gretchen Keickhafer of Hooper and six grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a daughter and three brothers. The Rev. Dan Mark will officiate Friday's services. Visitation will be 5-9 tonight, 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday at Moser Memorial Chapel in Fremont and one hour before service time Friday at the church. Members of the VFW Post No. 854 and American Legion Post No. 20 will conduct military graveside services. Burial will be in the Memorial Cemetery in Fremont.
