He married Edna Mae Archer Dec. 7, 1945.A graduate of Ottumwa High School in 1931, he worked for 33 years for John Morrell and Co., where he served as union steward. He married Edna Mae Archer Dec. 7, 1945.A graduate of Ottumwa High School in 1931, he worked for 33 years for John Morrell and Co., where he served as union steward. He was an avid bowler, serving as secretary of several bowling leagues, and was inducted into the Ottumwa Bowling Association Hall of Fame in 2003. Norman coached and umpired Little League games. Norman enjoyed working crossword puzzles and attending church, spending time with his wife and family and playing cards with family.Surviving are his wife, Edna; three sons, Greg (Cheryl) Frost of Mercer, Mo., Roger (Tammy) Frost of Urbandale, Larry (Lillian) Frost of Verona, Wis.; a daughter, Janice Victor of California; several grandchildren, including Krystina Frost of Mercer, Mo., and Marissa and Bethany Frost, both of Urbandale; and several great-grandchildren.He was preceded in death by his parents; stepmother, Avis Frost; a brother, Dwight Frost; a sister, Viola Frost; three stepbrothers, Charles, Jack and Rex Morris.Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Calvary Baptist Church; Pastor Mel Kendall officiating.
