Deceased are three John, Roland "Bud" and Robert; two sisters: Alice Driscoll and Jane Titus; and three brother-in-laws: Cliff Titus, Paul Pfenning and Ray Hansard. He enlisted with the U.S. Navy when he was 17 years old serving during the Korean Conflict. He was an electrician at Excello for 17 years and retired from Dana Corp. He enjoyed all sports and was a basketball player in his younger years. He enjoyed watching football and was an avid Cleveland Browns fan. He was a member of the American Legion Post #330 and St. Joseph Catholic Church. He especially enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Mass of Christian Burial is scheduled to begin at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday June 12, 2014 at St. Joseph Catholic Church. Rev. Patrick Sloneker will be officiating. Burial will follow at the church cemetery with military rites being performed by the V.F.W. Post #8445. Friends may call from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at Schlosser Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Wapakoneta. Memorial contributions may be directed to the St. Joseph Church Renovation Fund.
