Description	:	Norman J Kunce passed away, at ProMedica Hospital of Defiance, Sunday morning, September 27, 2020. Visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m. on Tuesday, September 29, 2020. and Wednesday, September 30, from 12-2 p.m., at the Defiance Church of the Nazarene. His Funeral Service will start at 2 p.m. with Pastor Donald Leonard officiating. Due to the recent pandemic, masks and social distancing will be required. Burial will take place at Riverside Cemetery. Schaffer Funeral Home will be assisting the family. He married Annabelle Butcher, on June 2, 1956, who survives. Also surviving, his son, David (JoNell) Kunce, of Sylvania, Ohio, his daughters, Linda (Gary) Boyer, and Deborah Stuber, all of Defiance, Ohio, 13 Grandchildren, and 27 Great-Grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his Parents, Grand-Daughter Katrina Kunce, his brother, Junior Kunce, and his sister, Frances Miller. Norman was a member of Defiance Church of the Nazarene, and UAW Local #211. He worked for several years at General Motors, until his retirement, in 1981. He was an avid fan of the Ohio State Buckeyes. He loved watching Western's and Comedy's , loved spending time in the yard, and spending time with his family. Norman will be sadly missed by his family and his many friends.
