Mr. Kenison was born in Berlin on September 21, 1929, a son of Leland and Eva (Lavoie) Kenison. Residing most of his life in Jefferson, Norman worked in the construction business. Kenison Sr., 71, of Israel River Road, died suddenly Wednesday afternoon August 8, 2001 while working in Milan. Mr. Kenison was born in Berlin on September 21, 1929, a son of Leland and Eva (Lavoie) Kenison. Residing most of his life in Jefferson, Norman worked in the construction business. For many years he was self-employed and for approximately five years worked for Audley Construction. Presently he was employed with Kel-Log of Gorham where he has worked for the past 10 years. He was also the Road Agent for the Town of Jefferson for many years. He was known for his beautifully kept property, which he enjoyed mowing. He served in the Army during the Korean War and was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, Whitefield. Family includes three sons, Norman R. Kenison Jr. of Gorham, Marty Kenison and Gregory Kenison both of Jefferson; three daughters, Sharon Vining of Winter Park, Fla., Kathy Kenison of Lancaster, and Lori Snell of Honolulu, Hi.; five grandchildren, Jeremie Kenison of Jefferson, Chelsea and Chad Kenison both of Lancaster, Ryan and Amanda Snell both of Honolulu; four brothers, Leland Kenison of Connecticut, Robert Kenison of Mansfield, Tex., Elliott Kenison of Florida, and Auvern Kenison of Randolph; three sisters, Marguerite Kenison of Jefferson, Jeanette Corrigan of Randolph, and Elizabeth Riendeau of Berlin. He was predeceased by his wife Beverly Ann (Willey) Kenison in 1994 and granddaughter Christen N. Kenison in 2000. Visiting hours were held Saturday evening August 11 at the Bailey Funeral Home, Lancaster. A graveside service with military honors was held Sunday afternoon at Forest Vale Cemetery, Jefferson. Rev. John Mazzei, pastor of All Saints and St. Agnes Churches, Jefferson officiated.
