Description	:	Saturday morning, January 21, 1911, while the snow was gently falling, the leaden sky arched over the first great sorrow of Mr. and Mrs. E. W. Chase when their infant son, Norris Lee, gently fell asleep in Jesus. The dear, young life that had been such a joy and comfort to the home slipped from the grasp of the parents and went to be with Him who gave him life. When we wake in the morning, we see him Where he always used to lie, And we feel as weak as a violet Alone 'neath the awful sky. Norris Lee was born November 5, 1910 and at the time of his death was two months and sixteen days old. The funeral was held at the residence Sunday morning and the remains were tenderly laid to rest in the Armel Cemetery, Rev. Metcalf conducting the services. May gradual patience fall from the cloud like snow, flake, by flake, healing the scar of their deep plunged woe. The tenderest love and sympathy of the community is extended to the sorrowing parents. Ere sin could blight and sorrow fade Death came with tender care, The opening bud to Heaven coneyed And bade it blossom there.
