He was a member of Marlbrook Baptist Church and a retired mechanic and carpenter. Surviving are his wife, Ruth Ester Groah; two daughters, Mrs. Eugene (Arlene) Walker and Mrs. Harold (Audrey) Knick, both of Fairfield; three sons, Allan H. Groah, Curtis R. Groah and Norwood Keith Groah, all of Fairfield; four sisters, Mrs. Betty Snyder and Mrs. Shirley Wamack, both of Vesuvius, Mrs. Helen Mizer of Swope... Groah and Norwood Keith Groah, all of Fairfield; four sisters, Mrs. Betty Snyder and Mrs. Shirley Wamack, both of Vesuvius, Mrs. Helen Mizer of Swope and Mrs. Margaret Fisher of Staunton; five brothers, Howard Groah and Francis Groah, both of Vesuvius, Floyd Groah of Raphine, Dalton Groah of Waynesboro and Paul Groah of Wirtz and seven grandchildren. A funeral will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday at Marlbrook Baptist Church, with interment in Mt. Carmel Presbyterian Cemetery. The Revs. Luther Witt and Phillip Mace will officiate.
