Description	:	Funeral services were held Sat. afternoon at Lands Church for Obel Ingebritson who died Tues. morning of last week at the home of his parents Mr. & Mrs. Nels Ingebritson in Norway Twp. The male choir rendered several beautiful selections & Miss Bertha Fossum sang "When We Meet on the Beautiful Shore." Rev. Dalseide spoke on the deceased whose life was plucked just as he was entering manhood. When but a child he was Baptized & Christened in the Lutheran faith & at age 14 was Confirmed & as a result of his christian training, when the end was near,... When but a child he was Baptized & Christened in the Lutheran faith & at age 14 was Confirmed & as a result of his christian training, when the end was near, death had no terror for him. He realized that his suffering was about over & calling his loved ones to him, he bade then goodbye, stating that he was ready to go to that better land. Obel was 19 yrs. of age. He was born in Norway Twp. where he lived most of his life, He attended Sands, Moe & Jensvold schools. He had been illl for over a year suffering from tuberculosis & death came as a relief to his long suffering. Sioux Valley News Canton, South Dakota - January 1927
