Obedience (Biddy) Hilton was daughter of John B. Hilton and Obedience Cox, and was born ca 1770's. She married James Pratt, who died in War of 1812 at Norfolk, VA. They had a number of Pratt children, who were mostly in the Montgomery Co (now Floyd Co) area.
