Description	:	Funeral services for O.G. "Max" Bausch, 90, of Pershing, who died April 22, at the VA Hospital in Knoxville, were held April 25, 1995, at Bybee and Davis Funeral Home in Knoxville. Burial was at Zion Cemetery. The Rev. Edward Bunt officiated at the services. Music was provided by James Kidder, organist, and Susan Daniels and Angel Geddis, vocalists. Pallbearers were James Beaver, Alan Freeman, Robert Beaver, Kent Klootwyk, Darrin Reaves, and Edwin Moses III. Max was born March 3, 1905, in O'Neil, Nebraska, the son of Henry and Elizabeth Sarah Henderson Bausch. He was a plasterer and worked in the building trade for over 50 years. He was a member of the Cement Masons and Plasterers Local 21 of Des Moines for over 40 years. He served in the U.S. Army during WWII. He was a hard worker all his life, and in his later life, he constructed two houses in Pershing. He was united in marriage to Mabel Moses July 2, 1960 in Princeton, Mo., and the couple first made their home in Des Moines. He was preceded in death by his parents; and one sister, Edith. He is survived by his wife, Mabel of Pershing; three daughters, Betty Padgett and Carol Erwin, both of Oklahoma City, Okla.; two stepsons, Ronald Moses of Pershing and Edward Moses of Knoxville; one stepdaughter, Janice Beaver of Knoxville; 19 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
