Mrs. Willis, who suffered a hip injury in August, developed pneuomnia two weeks ago. Born in Marysville, she lived in Council Bluffs during her childhood. Associated with the Northwestern Bell Telephone Company for many years, she worked first in Council Bluffs later in Decatur and then in Exira. Willis EXIRA - Funeral services were Tuesday at the Federated Church for Mrs, Ola B. Willis, 74, who died Saturday at an Audubon hospital. Mrs. Willis, who suffered a hip injury in August, developed pneuomnia two weeks ago. Born in Marysville, she lived in Council Bluffs during her childhood. Associated with the Northwestern Bell Telephone Company for many years, she worked first in Council Bluffs later in Decatur and then in Exira. She was chief operator at the time of her retirement in 1945. A member of the Federated Church, she also was member of the Federated Women's Association, Pythian Sisters and the American Legion Auxiliary. The Rev. Herbert G. Kelly officiated at the services and burial was in Exira Cemetery. Survivors include: one son, Earl E. of Michigan City, Ind.; two daughters, Mrs. Bernice Phippen and Mrs. Irene Jacobsen of Exira; seven grandchildren; three sisters, Mrs. Ed Stribling of Omaha, Mrs. Frank Cuneo of San Francisco, Calif, and Mrs. Harry Hannum of Los Angeles, Calif.
