Description	:	Ola Mae Webb, age 79, of the South Toe Community, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, April 14, 2009 at the Spruce Pine Brian Center. A native of Yancey County, she was a daughter of the late Will and Arie Jones Boone and the wife of L.D. Webb, who passed away in 1998. She was also preceded in death by a sister, Dorothy Carroway and four brothers: Earl, Elmer, John and Harold Boone. Read More	Ola Mae Webb, age 79, of the South Toe Community, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, April 14, 2009 at the Spruce Pine Brian Center. A native of Yancey County, she was a daughter of the late Will and Arie Jones Boone and the wife of L.D. Webb, who passed away in 1998. She was also preceded in death by a sister, Dorothy Carroway and four brothers: Earl, Elmer, John and Harold Boone. Ola Mae worked for several years at Little Switzerland Inn and loved to sew, can and garden. She was a member of South Estatoe Baptist Church. Surviving is a daughter, Betty Jean McKinney and husband, Jay, of South Toe; Douglas Webb and Mimi, of Upper Browns Creek and Ward Webb and Denise, of Banner Elk; two sisters: Mable Boone and Emma Jane Stevens, both of Upper Browns Creek; six grandchildren: Kyran McKinney, Aimee Webb Drake, Daniel Webb and wife, Somer, Miranda DeGrande and husband, Joe, Dustin Brent Webb and Lucas Morton; four great-grandchildren: Kaleb DeGrande, Jessiah Anderson, Ethan Webb and Jack Webb. Several nieces and nephews also survivie. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, April 17th in the Chapel of Yancey Funeral Services. Rev. Charles Ray Carroll will officiate. Burial will follow services in the Autrey Cemetery at South Estatoe Baptist Church. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, April 16th at the funeral home.
