He died Nov. 24, 2003 at Inova Fair Oaks Hospital in Fairfax, Va. Olaf Arthur Hove was born July 22, 1911 on the family farm in York Township, near Leeds to Ole and Amanda Nessett Hove. He died Nov. 24, 2003 at Inova Fair Oaks Hospital in Fairfax, Va. Olaf Arthur Hove was born July 22, 1911 on the family farm in York Township, near Leeds to Ole and Amanda Nessett Hove. He was reared there and attended the township school. He graduated from Leeds High School. Following graduation from UND School of Law he went to Santa Monica, Calif. and was a fisherman. He then moved to Glendale, Calif. and was a tool and die machinist before becoming a real estate agent. He retired in Las Vegas, Nev. and then moved to Oakton in 2000 to be close to his family. Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Patty and Bill Hohwiesner of Oakton, Va.; a granddaughter; and a brother, Fritz Hove of Devils Lake. He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, Emil, Otto and Nils Hove; and two sisters, Olga Hove and Anna Odden.
