Description	:	He was born Ole Ingebrigtsen on the Fatland farm. He came to the USA in 1847 with his first wife Astri and their two daughters, Ellen and Britha, and used Fatland as their last name. In about 1848 Astri and Britha died during the cholera epidemic. On 15 October 1849 Ole married Kari Hendriksdatter Hansen the widow of John Hansen, who died during the cholera epidemic.
