Description	:	Ole O. Brandon passed away Sunday at his farm home northeast from this city following an extended illness. More than two years ago he was taken sick and from that time on his health gradually failed. For a time he rallied following an operation but during the past several months his condition grew steadily worse. Mr. Brandon was born in Gulbrandsdalen, Norway, January 13, 1865. Brandon passed away Sunday at his farm home northeast from this city following an extended illness. More than two years ago he was taken sick and from that time on his health gradually failed. For a time he rallied following an operation but during the past several months his condition grew steadily worse. Mr. Brandon was born in Gulbrandsdalen, Norway, January 13, 1865. He left his native land and came to America in 1882 at which time he was seventeen years old. His first home was in Wisconsin and later came to North Dakota. Since coming here at an early age, he was actively engaged in farming. He was united in marriage to Miss. Marie Bye of Hatton in 1892. During his long residence in this community he established a large circle of friends who together with members of the family now mourn his passing. Besides his wife, the deceased is survived by five children, Clarence Brandon, Mrs. Selmer (Olga) Monson, Ernest Brandon, and Arnold Brandon, all of Hatton and Lester Brandon of Larimore. He also leaves one brother, Amund Brandon of Northwood and two sisters, Mrs. Alfred Carlson of Northwood and a sister in Norway. Funeral services are being held this afternoon from the St. John Lutheran Church of this city, of which Mr. Brandon was a devoted member. Rev. O.L. Jensen will officiate and the remains will be laid to rest in the cemetery (St. John) north from this city. Pallbearers will be life long friends of the deceased, Ed S. Johnson, J.A Dahl, S. J.
