Oleafa was born on Nov. 9, 1924, at the Keating Ranch in Molt, to Walter and Geverta Hamilton. Oleafa attended and graduated from Absarokee High School. After high school, she attended dental college in San Francisco. After returning home, she worked for Dr. Swanson, where she met Gerald Kirch. They fell in love and were married on Nov. 13, 1949. Oleafa was born on Nov. 9, 1924, at the Keating Ranch in Molt, to Walter and Geverta Hamilton. Oleafa attended and graduated from Absarokee High School. After high school, she attended dental college in San Francisco. After returning home, she worked for Dr. Swanson, where she met Gerald Kirch. They fell in love and were married on Nov. 13, 1949. After being married, they resided on the Kirch Ranch, where they celebrated 60 years together. During those years, they were blessed with two sons, Robert Wayne and Fred Walter. Oleafa is survived by her husband, Gerald; her son, Robert; her granddaughters, Tammi (Shelby) Burrows, Sandi (Matt) Hubbell and Brittany Kirch; and her great-grandchildren, Morgan, Jason, Amy and Sarah. She is also survived by her sisters, Dorothy, Ruth, Jackie, Evie; and her brother, Clayton. She is preceded in death by her parents; her son, Fred; and sisters, JoAnn, Bernice; and brothers, Art and Ralph.
