Born September 7, 1895, at Warsaw, Poland. She was the daughter of William and Emilie (Amelia) Reschauer Brade. She had been a resident of Muscatine since she was 11 years old. Born September 7, 1895, at Warsaw, Poland. She was the daughter of William and Emilie (Amelia) Reschauer Brade. She had been a resident of Muscatine since she was 11 years old. She was married July 23, 1913, at Muscatine, to William Getz. She was a member of the Zion Lutheran church, and the Ladies Aid of the church. Survivors include her husband, William Getz, one son, William Robert Getz of Muscatine; three brothers, William Brade of Lone Tree, Carl Brade and Otto Brade of Muscatine, five sisters, Mrs. Henry Marx of Muscatine, Mrs. John Martin of Buena Park, Calif., Mrs. Cecil McDonald of Columbus, Ohio, Mrs. James Stratton of Muscatine, and Mrs. James Darin of Chicago; and one granddaughter, Patricia Ann Getz of Muscatine. She was preceded in death by her parents, one son, one sister, and one brother. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. today at the Zion Lutheran church, with Rev. E. I. Hageman in charge. Burial was at Greenwood cemetery. The George M. Wittich funeral home was in charge of arrangements.
