Description	:	Olga Egger, 97, Breckenridge, MN and formerly of Abercrombie, ND died on Thursday, December 3, 2009, at St. Francis Healthcare Campus, Breckenridge, MN. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 A.M. on Monday, December 7 at Emmanuel Lutheran Church, Abercrombie, ND with Rev. Ken Kirchenwitz officiating. Visitation will be Sunday from 4 PM to 7 PM at Vertin-Munson Funeral Home, Wahpeton, and one hour before the service a at the church on Monday. Interment will be at Emmanuel Lutheran Cemetery. Olga Egger was born on January 3, 1912 at her family farm in rural Abercrombie, ND to Ole and Ida (Vik) Hestdalen; the youngest of 16 children. She was baptized on February 11, 1912 and confirmed in 1926 at Emmanuel Lutheran Church, Abercrombie. She attended local school and started working at a young age; housekeeping for area families. On April 12, 1939 she married Allen E. Egger in Breckenridge, MN. They were life-long residents of Abercrombie where they raised their family. Olga worked for Borman's Variety Store, Abercrombie Meat Market and did child care into her late 80's. Allen died on May 22, 1979 at his home in Abercrombie. Olga remained in Abercrombie until moving to St. Francis Healthcare Campus in May of 2008. She was a lifetime member of Emmanuel Lutheran Church, active member of Band Mother's, Needle Club, 4-H leader for many years and secretary-treasurer of Emmanuel Sunday School. She enjoyed quilting, embroidery, writing letters, baking and canning and was well known for her "super thin" sugar cookies. Over the years she would make baby quilts for the Ronald McDonald House. Olga always had a wonderful outlook on life and was a hard worker. Family was always the center of her life. She is lovingly survived by her two daughters, Lavella "Lollie" (Bob) Hansen, Nevis, MN and Lucille "Cooky" Egger, Abercrombie, ND two grandchildren, Scott (Mary) Hansen, Abercrombie, ND and Stacey (Buddy) Reynolds, Dillon, MT, and five great grandchildren, Brittany, Zachary, Heather and Elijah Hansen and Danielle Warburton. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Allen in 1979 and six sisters and nine brothers. In lieu of flowers the family requests Memorials be given to the American Heart Association, American Cancer Society, Riveredge Hospice or Emmanuel Lutheran Church.
