Funeral services were held Tuesday, August 20, at the United Methodist Church with Rev. Alfred E. Rau officiating at the 2 p.m. service. Lula Garnes was organist. Casketbearers were Alan Johnston, Gary Johnston, Andrew Kretzinger, Jack Scott, Jay Scott, and Gerald Bowman. Interment was in Union Township Cemetery. Mn.; a brother, Oswald Sewalson, Lynn Grove; four stepdaughters, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. OLGA INGRID FISHER Olga, daughter of Olaf and lngrid Sigurdson Sewalson, was born February 10, 1902, in Barnes Township, Buena Vista County, Iowa. She graduated from Lynn Grove High School and attended St. Olaf's College where she sang in the well known St. Olaf's Choir. As a young woman she came to Coon Rapids where she taught music in the public school system. She met and married Leonard Bowman on August 30, 1927. They moved to Indianola, Iowa, where Olga received a degree in music from Simpson College. They then moved to Osage where they owned and operated the newspaper for 17 years before moving back to Coon Rapids where Leonard died on December 23, 1962. On October 10,1969, Olga was united in marriage with Charles Fisher. They made their home in Coon Rapids and wintered in Arizona. Olga was a member of the United Methodist Church, a 50-year member of the Order of Eastern Star, and a member of P.E.O. She had been in failing health about a year and died at Thomas Rest Haven at the age of 83 years, 6 months and 8 days. Besides her first husband, she was preceded in death by her parents.
