Description	:	Excerpt From Obituary - "Ottumwa Courier," January 13, 1997: Olin L. Roberts, 84, formerly of 3011 E. Main St., died at 5:30 a.m. Jan. 12, 1997, at Sylvan Woods in Ottumwa. He was born Feb. 18, 1912, south of Fredrick in Monroe County to Sam and Mary Warner Roberts. He married Roberta Dimmitt on Oct. 11, 1939, in Toledo, Ohio. She died Nov. 10, 1988. He was a resident of Ottumwa since 1921, and had been employed by Lowenberg Bakery for 45 years. He was a member of Church of the Brethren, where he served on the board... He was born Feb. 18, 1912, south of Fredrick in Monroe County to Sam and Mary Warner Roberts. He married Roberta Dimmitt on Oct. 11, 1939, in Toledo, Ohio. She died Nov. 10, 1988. He was a resident of Ottumwa since 1921, and had been employed by Lowenberg Bakery for 45 years. He was a member of Church of the Brethren, where he served on the board and was an usher. He is survived by a sister, Mary Lula Day, of Ottumwa. He was preceded in death by three sisters, Gracie Fisher, Elda Lowe and an infant, Mary Ann Roberts; and four brothers, John, D.L., Paul and an infant, Sam. The service will be 1 p.m. Wednesday at Church of the Brethren, the Rev. Cynthia Taylor officiating. Burial will be in Agency Cemetery. Visitation will be after 10 a.m. Tuesday at Reece Funeral Home with family present from 6 to 7:30 p.m.
