Description	:	Olive Darlyne Redlinger passed away Wednesday evening, January 15, 2014 at the Golden Living Center, Norfolk, Nebraska. Olive was born on February 17, 1924, at Dorsey, Nebraska, to Oral Guy and Marian Elizabeth (Derickson) Pickering. Olive was raised on a farm at Dorsey, Nebraska, and graduated from high school in Lynch, Nebraska. Her favorite subjects were typing and English. She worked at a local store there and then taught school for 2 years. She married Reuben Ramen Redlinger on February 4, 1947 in Lincoln, Nebraska. They lived in Ewing, O'Neill and Page, Nebraska. Olive was born on February 17, 1924, at Dorsey, Nebraska, to Oral Guy and Marian Elizabeth (Derickson) Pickering. Olive was raised on a farm at Dorsey, Nebraska, and graduated from high school in Lynch, Nebraska. Her favorite subjects were typing and English. She worked at a local store there and then taught school for 2 years. She married Reuben Ramen Redlinger on February 4, 1947 in Lincoln, Nebraska. They lived in Ewing, O'Neill and Page, Nebraska. She cooked and drove the school bus for the Inman (NE.) School and enjoyed making raised doughnuts for the children and staff at the school. Olive was an active member for many years in the Assembly of God Church, O'Neill, Nebraska and was involved with the Women's Missions Council as well as teaching Sunday school and various other activities. She enjoyed crafts, which included making butterflies and satin covered photo albums, which she sold at craft shows. She was a kind, loving, and giving person. She enjoyed entertaining people at her home and was always making something good to eat for everyone. Olive is preceded in death by: parents; husband, Reuben Ramen Redlinger; twin sister Vera Arlyne and infant grandson Shane. Olive is survived by: children, Cheryl King and husband Dean, of Elm Creek, Nebraska, Beverly Neth and husband John, of Norfolk, Nebraska, Oral Redlinger of Norfolk, Nebraska and Verlin Redlinger and wife Kim, of Norfolk, Nebraska; 10 Grandchildren; 25 Great Grandchildren and a host of family and friends. Funeral services for Olive Redlinger, were at 10:30 A.M., Monday, January 20, 2014, at The Assembly of God Church, O'Neill, Nebraska Burial was in the O'Neill Cemetery, O'Neill, Nebraska.
