Olive was the daughter of Daniel Ingalls and Sarah Fletcher, and had a twin sister named Anne. A deed signed by Thomas and Olive Pollard on 28 May 1790 mentions Elijah Fletcher's land, this likely being a relative of Olive's mother, who was a Fletcher. Thomas Pollard's will, dated 2 September 1829, leaves his entire estate to wife Olive, and appoints son-in-law, John Stark, as sole executor. Olive was undoubtedly the 70-80 year old female living with her son Daniel in Goffstown in 1830. On 6 Nov 1838, Olive made application in Hillsboro Co., NH for widow's pension, calling herself aged 76, and a resident of Goffstown. In 1840 she was living with her daughter, Sarah, and son-in-law John Stark the third in Manchester, and was listed in the census as a Revolutionary War pensioner, aged 79. In 1850, she was the "Polly Pollard" aged 90, living in Manchester with John and Sarah Stark. On 10 Dec 1856, Olive applied for "BLW" (Bounty Land Warrant?). Administration of the estate of Olive Pollard, late of Manchester, was granted to John Stark on 1 September 1857. According to her death record, Olive is buried in Manchester. The fact that the cemetery is not named suggests that she was buried in a private cemetery. Since Olive lived with her daughter and son-in-law (John Stark III) for nearly two decades, it is highly likely that she was buried in the family cemetery maintained by the Starks. She was very much a part of the family, and since she was not buried next to her husband in Goffstown, it is very unlikely that the family would bury her anywhere else other than the family plot in Manchester.
