She was a member and a former organist of Sacred Heart Church, Doucettville. She was a life member of the New Ross Royal Canadian Legion Auxiliary. She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Alcide; nephew, Glen (Janice) Pye, New Ross whom she helped raise and who was like a son to her; sisters, Reta (Vaughn) Meister, Daisy Pye, New Ross; brothers, Karl (Phyllis), Foster (Jeanie), New Ross; Basil (Jean), Chester Grant; several nieces, nephews. She was predeceased by sisters, Ruth Lake, Thelma Kaiser; brother, Lindsay Jollymore. Visitation will be 9 a.m. today until time of funeral at 11 a.m. in St. Patrick Roman Catholic Church, New Ross, Father Paul Morris officiating. Burial in St. Patrick Roman Catholic Cemetery, Mill Road. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to Canadian Diabetes Association or a charity of choice. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to H.C. Lindsay Funeral Home, New Ross.
