Description	:	Former Uniondale resident Olive Lucille Hoag, 86, died at 6 a.m. Monday, Nov. 1, at Markle Health Care in Markle. Born in Uniondale Aug. 9, 1918 to Homer and Nellie McAfee Harshman, she married Noble L. Hoag April 4, 1947, in Uniondale. He preceded her in death Oct. 12, 1973. A 1935 graduate of Rockcreek High School, she was retired from the Norfolk Western Railroad where she worked as a clerk. She was a member of St. Mark's Lutheran Church in Uniondale. Survivors include four sons, Doug of Markle, Jim of Tocsin, Larry of Bristol, and Guy of Antwerp, Ohio; three daughters, Mrs. Jim (Mae) Cobb of Bluffton, and Mrs. Terry (Diane) Bunch and Mrs. Jeff (Marilyn) Langley, both of Leesburg; a brother, Tom Harshman of Colorado; a sister, Madeline Brindle, Bluffton; 17 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Janet Hoag. Services at 10:30 a.m. Thursday will be at St. Mark's Lutheran Church in Uniondale under the direction of Pastors Gene Kinney and Bill Peterson. Calling at Goodwin Memorial Chapel will be from 2 to 8 p.m. Wednesday. Burial will follow at St. Paul's Cemetery. Memorials may be made to St. Mark's Lutheran Church.
