| Description | : | Forker Oliver came to Noble County in 1844 and continually from that time was associated with the improvement of Noble County. For a long time he ran the old Mud saw mill situated at the outlet of Henderson Lake near the residence of Frederick Strater in Wayne Twp. He afterwards purchased a farm west of the city and built thereon a home for his family where he resided to the time of his death. He married Elizabeth Dingman in 1845.
