Marshalltown, Ia., Nov. 22.--While walking on the tracks of the Northwestern railway last night Oliver D. Bosteder, aged 66, of Independence, was struck by a freight train, sustaining injuries that is feared will prove fatal. Bosteder was formerly in the Iowa soldiers' home, and was readmitted immediately following the accident in order that he might be cared for at the state hospital.
