This book lists his death date as 30 June 1831, though stone says otherwise. He was a Revolutionary War soldier, with many enlistments during the war. One of those list him, in 1781, as aged 23 yrs, which agrees with the 1758 birth date. In his pension papers, on one item dated 1818, he gave his age as 60 yrs, and was aged 63 in 1821. The Portland Weekly Advertiser, on 28 Aug 1838, printed the following: "In Madison, Mr Oliver Heald, 80, a soldier of the revolution" NOTE: The Parlin Gen, pg 25, also has an Oliver Heald, son of Thomas, who was born on 1 Aug 1740 and also married an Esther Fletcher. This one lived in Lowell, MA, according to the book.
