He lived in Iola, Kans for a number of years, being sexton of the McKinley school. He leaves to mourn his loss, five children: Harrison, Mike and Sively of the state of Oregon, of Sand Springs, Okla., and Marjorie of Iola, Kan; a brother, George, of West Virginia and a sister, Mrs. T. L. Turner of Wichita Kans. In faith he was a believer in the doctrine of the International Bible Students Association. He was a believer in Christ and often expressed himself as being entirely resigned and ready to meet God at any time. He was always held in the highest esteem by the teachers of McKinley School and was loved by the by the pupils. He was a good neighbor, a considerate father and a splendid citizen.
