The deceased was born in Howard County, Ind. on January 3, 1864, and was forty-four years of age at the time of his death. The deceased had been twice married. His first wife was Ida Green to whom he was married in 1833. One child survives as a result of this marriage. The wife died in 1890.... Read More	Burial Date: May 24, 1908 ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Tipton Tribune - Monday, May 25, 1908 Oliver Coy died at his home on North East Street Saturday afternoon at 4 o'clock, lung fever being the cause of his death. The deceased was born in Howard County, Ind. on January 3, 1864, and was forty-four years of age at the time of his death. The deceased had been twice married. His first wife was Ida Green to whom he was married in 1833. One child survives as a result of this marriage. The wife died in 1890. In 1891, he was married to Iva Gullion. Six children were born to the second marriage, all of whom survive. The deceased had been in the employ of the Lake Erie Railroad, being in the section department and for twenty-three years, he had held that job being held in the highest esteem by the company. He identified himself with the Christian religion at an early age and was a valued member of the Separate Baptist Church, having united with that church at Jacksons. Mr. Coy was the son of James Coy of this city, and he was well known throughout the city and county, having many friends who will regret to hear of his death.
