In addition to his wife of 70 years, Ella Rebecca "Nancy" Cole Newton, Mr. Newton is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Danny and Susan Newton of Halifax and daughter and son-in-law, Ida and Harvey Driggs of Nelson. Grandchildren, Arlene, Darlene, Lewis, Glen, David and Madonna; 13 great grandchildren and 10 great great grandchildren also survive. He was preceded in death by his son, Wade Newton. |
