Description	:	Olivia Anna Snow Haney, 94, of Ruckersville, passed away Tuesday, January 6, 2009, at the Evergreen Nursing Home. Olivia was born on September 23, 1914, in Greene County, daughter of the late Alphonso Snow and Martha Lawson Snow. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Kenny C. Haney; one son, John Edward Haney; one brother, Battle Snow; a grandson, Jeffery Wayne Haney; and a son-in-law, Marshall L. Watson. She is survived by two sons, Kenny C. Haney and Randolph Wayne Haney; one daughter, Violet Haney Watson; four grandchildren, Nelson C. Taylor and his wife, Robyn, Gary S.... Olivia was born on September 23, 1914, in Greene County, daughter of the late Alphonso Snow and Martha Lawson Snow. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Kenny C. Haney and Randolph Wayne Haney; one daughter, Violet Haney Watson; four grandchildren, Nelson C. Taylor and his wife, Robyn, Gary S. Taylor, Randy Haney and his wife, Christal, and Amanda Haney Davis; four great-grandchildren, Craig Taylor and his wife, Kristi, Kristen Taylor, Skyler Davis, and Madison Haney; two great-great-grandchildren, Cameron and Dylan Taylor; and many other family members and friends. Olivia was a member of Swift Run Baptist Church. She was a homemaker who especially enjoyed cooking and gardening. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. The family will receive friends 6 until 8 p.m. Saturday, January 10, 2009, at the Ryan Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Sunday, January 11, 2009, at the Ryan Funeral Home with the Reverend Mark Holder officiating. Interment will follow at Ruckersville Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Greene County Rescue Squad, PO Box 302, Stanardsville, VA 22972 or Swift Run Baptist Church Building Fund, PO Box 426, Stanardsville, VA 22973.
