Death of a Well-Known Lady Baltimore Sun, (Baltimore, MD), Jul. 18, 1884 Rockville, Md., July 17. — Mrs. Caroline Wootten, relict of the late Dr. Turner Wootten, died at her residence in this town this morning, in the 78th year of her age. Mrs. Wootten was born and reared in St. Mary’s county, and was one of the cavalier families of over a century ago. At the time of her marriage, and for some years after, her husband was a practitioner of medicine in Prince George’s county. In 1844 (?) they removed to Montgomery county. The deceased leaves three children, a single daughter, Henry F. Wootten, of Ellicott City, and Dr. E. E. Wootten, of this county.
