Three brothers, Tom McCarty of Ottumwa (THOMAS), John McCarty of Ottumwa & Mike McCarty of Mt. Zion. One sister Mrs. Nellie Jones of Ottumwa (wife of Alonzo Jones)and a host of nieces & nephews. She united with the Presbysterian church in 1915. Mr James Myers, husband proceeded her in death February 22, 1931. She was a kind and loving mother. She will be greatly missed by her family, neighbors and friends. Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon, August 27 at her home. Rev. C. Hugo Orf of Keosaqua, officiated. Interment was Purdom cemetery. Obit sent to me by my 2nd cousin Margie MOUGHLER of Ottumwa, Iowa.
