Description	:	Oma Seiber Giles, age 98, a resident of Wartburg, passed away Tuesday, March 8, 2011 at the Life Care Center in Morgan County. Mrs. Giles was born August 3, 1912 in the New River Community of Anderson County. She moved to Oliver Springs in 1952 and continued to live in Oliver Springs until her move to Wartburg in 2004. Read More	Oma Seiber Giles, age 98, a resident of Wartburg, passed away Tuesday, March 8, 2011 at the Life Care Center in Morgan County. Mrs. Giles was born August 3, 1912 in the New River Community of Anderson County. She moved to Oliver Springs in 1952 and continued to live in Oliver Springs until her move to Wartburg in 2004. She was a homemaker, a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother. Mrs. Giles was a member of Mineral Springs Baptist Church in Oliver Springs. Oma was preceded in death by her parents, Jeff and Nettie Bunch Seiber, by her husband, Tom Giles, by sisters; Hazel Carroll, Flossie Daugherty and Stella Bunch, and by brothers; Lonzie and Rossie Seiber. She is survived by a son, Steve Seiber and wife, Deanna of Sunbright, by daughters; Darlis Burford of Winter Haven, FL, Dorothy Bray of Harriman, Hazel Campbell and husband, James of Harriman and JoAnn Headrick and husband, Earl of Wartburg. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren and a hos of great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren and by several nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends. The family will receive friends Friday, March 11, 2011, between the hours of 6:00 and 8:00 p.m. at Sharp Funeral Home.The funeral will follow at 8:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Steve McDonald and Pastor Houston Carroll officiating. Burial and graveside services will be held Saturday, March 12, 2011 at 12:00 p.m. at Anderson Memorial Gardens.
