Born in Gaffney, she was the widow of the late Ivon Black Ramsey and daughter of the late Jesse Dobbins Wright and Bertha Wright. She retired from Midway Baptist Church and Calvary Baptist Church Daycare's and was a member of Calvary Baptist Church where she served as Sunday school secretary for over 40 years. Surviving is a daughter, Janice Moore and husband, Bill, of Gaffney; a brother, Paul Wayne Wright and wife, Becky, of Gaffney; two grandchildren, Gregory Moore and wife, Debbie, and Shawn Moore; six great-grandchildren, Brad Moore, Brooke Moore, Tyler Moore, Kevin Moore, Megan Moore and Hannah Moore; three great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a grandson, Rick Moore. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. on Sunday, July 26, 2015 at Blakely Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Monday, July 27, 2015 at Calvary Baptist Church with Rev. Joey Shetley and Dr. Terry Pleasant officiating. Interment will be in Frederick Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to: Calvary Baptist Church, 2928 Cherokee Avenue, Gaffney, S.C. 29340 or Alzheimers Association, 901 South Pine Street, Spartanburg, S.C. 29302. The family will be at the home of Bill and Janice Moore, 117 Iron Ore Road, Gaffney.
