OPAL CROWE. Mrs. Opal Crowe, 49, wife of Abe Crowe of 525 West Second street, died at the Ottumwa hospital at 5 a.m. today. She was the daughter of Jess and Lucinda Criswell Skinner and was born in Wapello county, July 3, 1903. She had lived in the county all of her life and in Ottumwa for the past 30 years. She is survived by her husband and several aunts and uncles. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Henry Chadwick, her parents and one brother. The body is at the Johnson funeral chapel. Funeral arrangements are pending. --------------- CROWE SERVICES From Ottumwa Daily Courier, Friday, January 9, 1953, Page 12: Funeral services for Mrs. Opal Crowe, 49, wife of Abe Crowe of 525 West Second street, who died at the Ottumwa hospital at 5 a.m. Thursday, will be held at the Johnson funeral chapel at 2 p.m. Saturday in charge of the Rev. W.B. Friend, pastor of the Pentecostal church. Burial will be in the Shaul cemetery.
