Read More	The Osceola Tribune, Osceola, Iowa April 28, 1959, Page 3 Obituary Ora Iza Doss Ora Iza Doss of Milo, daughter of Nancy Harrison and Thomas baker, was born on March 9, 1882, in Clarke County, Iowa, near Liberty and departed this life at the University hospital in Iowa City on April 23, 1959 at the age of 77 years, one month and 14 days. She received her spiritual training in the old United Brethren church at Center, Liberty township. She demonstrated her faith in God by her kind and generous nature and by her willingness to help others at all times. She received her education in the Clarke county schools where she lived the greater part of her life. On February 14, 1906, she was united in marriage to C. Edward Doss. To this union were born two sons, Glen of Liberty, Iowa, and Garl of Des Moines, and a daughter, Juanita Nichoson of Lansing, Michigan. After the death of their mother, Isabel Doss, she lovingly cared for two small granddaughters, Velma, now Mrs. Marshfield of Houston, Texas, and Nadine, now Mrs. Heathcote of Dallas, Texas. Besides her devoted husband and three children she leaves to mourn her passing two daughters-in-law, Arlene and Bonnie, a son-in-law, Flint Nichoson; three sisters, Maude Dale, Nynne Curnes and her twin sister, Mrs. Cora McLaughlin, all of Osceola; three brothers, Ed, Henry and Lee, all of Osceola; three sisters-in-law, one brother-in-law, six grandchildren, Velma Harshfield, Nadine Heathcote, Warren Edward Doss, Beverly Joan Estes, Rolland Price and Linda Bleanier, and seven great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her daughter-in-law, Isabel, her parents and a sister, Mrs. Ellen Graham. Mrs. Doss will be sadly missed for she was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother and a dear friend to all who knew her. Funeral services were conducted by the Rev. Warren Hile at the Webster Funeral Home on Sunday, April 26, at 2:00 p. m. She was laid to rest in the Bethel Chapel cemetery.
