Read More	Ora Magealene Kremer Bender, 92, passed away January 20, 2014 at Oak Lea Nursing Home, Harrisonburg, Virginia. Mrs Bender was born on September 16,, 1921, in Milford, Nebraska and was the daughter of the late William and Malinda Miller Kremer. In early years, she worked as a school techer and later taught sewing classed for the Singer Sewing Machine Company. She was an active member of the Park View Mennonite Church where she participated in the sewing circle for fmany years. She will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, and grandmother and enjoyed gardening, sewing and quilt making. On November 23, 1947, she married Daniel H. Bender who servives. Also surviving are four children: Debra Hope Bender and husband Clifford Stewart, Cape Coral, FL, Judy Loranyne Yoder and husband J. Byard, Manheim, PA, Evan D.H. Bender, Linville, Eric Kremer Bender and wife LuAnn, Harrsionburg; six grandchildren: Jeremy Byard Yoder, Jonathan Blake Yoder and wife Jonilyn, Joseph Eric Bender, Malinda Joy Bender, Mary Kathryn Bender and Michael Evan Bender. Mrs Bender was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Holly Ann Bender and her siblings: Kenneth Kremer, Opal Miller, Margaet Roth, Carroll Kremer, Lorne Kremer. Memorial contributions may be made to Daniel and Ora Bender Scholarship Fund at Eastern Mennonite School, 801 Parkwood Drive, Harrisonburg, VA 22802
