Description	:	Ora Norman Pearson (1912-2005) CLUTIER - Ora Norman Pearson, 92, of Clutier, died Wednesday, Jan. 5, at Keystone Nursing Care Center, Keystone, following a lengthy illness. He was born Jan. 22, 1912, in Ottumwa, son of Lora and Ona Carter Pearson. He married Dorothy Handy in 1934. Mr. Pearson and his wife farmed and raised turkeys on Witwer Turkey Farms of Cedar Rapids until moving to a farm north of Clutier in 1947. They farmed there for 46 years. Read More	Ora Norman Pearson (1912-2005) CLUTIER - Ora Norman Pearson, 92, of Clutier, died Wednesday, Jan. 5, at Keystone Nursing Care Center, Keystone, following a lengthy illness. He was born Jan. 22, 1912, in Ottumwa, son of Lora and Ona Carter Pearson. He married Dorothy Handy in 1934. Mr. Pearson and his wife farmed and raised turkeys on Witwer Turkey Farms of Cedar Rapids until moving to a farm north of Clutier in 1947. They farmed there for 46 years. He was a sales representative for Red Giant Oil and Upperlube and a seed corn dealer for Epley Seed Corn. He also sharpened implement discs for area farmers, retiring in 1993. Survivors include: his wife of Keystone Senior Suites, Keystone; two sons, Ora Jay (Marilyn) of Iowa City and Gary (Linda) of Clutier; a daughter, Virginia Jensen of Clutier; a brother, Keith (Joyce) of Van Horne; two sisters, Fern Doud and Evelyn Van Deusen of Vinton; a sister-in-law, Grace Crawford of Hedrick; 20 grandchildren; and 39 great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by: two brothers, Joe (Faye) and Cecil (Marie); two sisters, Mitzie (Jim) Mulgrave and Lola (Kenneth) Bitner; a sister-in-law, Mattie (Francis) Bailey; and four brothers-in-law, Orien (Ethel) Handy, Joe Handy, Millard Handy and Clyde (Eleanor) Handy. Services: 11 a.m. Saturday at Clutier Community Church, Clutier, with burial in Oneida Township Cemetery, near Clutier. Friends may call any time after noon Friday at Hand Clutier Funeral Chapel, where the family will be present to greet friends from 4 to 7 p.m. Memorials: may be directed to the Keystone Care Center, Keystone.
