True having charge of the service. The remains were tenderly laid to rest in the Edgewood cemetery, a large number of sorroing friends following them to their last resting place. Mrs. May was a resident of this vicinity for a large number of years and had many warm friends who are sad at her departure. Mrs. May was a resident of this vicinity for a large number of years and had many warm friends who are sad at her departure. She was a consistent christian lady and meber of the Methodist Episcopal church ever sincer girlhood and done a great deal of good to humanity during all those years. Orinda W. Randall was born October 23, 1833, at Norwich, Chenango county, New York. On the 15th day of March 1854, she was married to Truman Noble and to this union were born two sons, Ira F. Noble of Graettinger, Iowa, and Evlon L. Noble of this place. Her husband died August 29, 1862 and in 1872 she was again united in marriage to Samuel May who passed away several years ago. Mrs. May was 81 years, 10 months, and 28 days of age at the time of her death. The deceased and her husband came from the east in 1856 and settled near Yankee Settlement in Delaware county and since which time she has resided in this immediate community. The Journal can say of the deceased that she was a noble woman and feels a personal loss in her death.
