Orville married Eleanor Boggess in 1949 and was married to her until her passing in 1977. He then met and married Luevern Geary in 1978 and was married to her until his passing. He grew up and lived in Yakima all his life. He became a truck driver and worked in and around Yakima until he retired. Orville married Eleanor Boggess in 1949 and was married to her until her passing in 1977. He then met and married Luevern Geary in 1978 and was married to her until his passing. Orville enjoyed camping, boating, waterskiing, fishing, traveling and spending time with his friends and family and also his Church family. He was an avid Mariners and Seahawks fan and watched as many games as he could. Orville and his brothers and sisters grew up during the "Great Depression" and he always said that they had to make their own toys and even though they didn't have a lot of things, they always had plenty of food, especially ice-cream. Orville, Eleanor and kids took vacations every summer and traveled to several states in the US and Canada and saw many wonderful sights. Later after the children were grown, they were able to take trips to Mazatlan, Puerto Vallarta and Las Vegas. Orville and Eleanor spent many holidays and weekends camping, waterskiing and boating with Orville's brothers and sisters. Many who camped and boated with him learned to waterski and had lasting memories of these occasions. There were also many family fishing trips and several with his son. After his marriage to Luevern Geary, they went on their honeymoon and traveled through Europe for six weeks. Later trips included Acapulco and Hawaii. They also took road trips with Luevern's younger kids in the US and Canada. Orville always had a smile, always had a story, loved family and friends and loved the Lord. He will be greatly missed. Orville was preceded in death by his mother and father, Mary and Gottfried Fund, his wife Eleanor Fund, brother Arnold Fund, sisters Esther May and Bertha Beers, step son Ben Blachly and grandson Clinton Boggess.
