Read More	WWII Veteran Fulton County, IN Obituaries by Tombaugh: Dec. 31, 1913 - April 29, 1995 Orville L. VANDERMARK, 81, 705 N. Market St., North Manchester, died at 8:45 a.m. Saturday at the Rehabilitation Hospitl of Fort Wayne. He was born in Decatur, AK to Joseph and Mary AZDELL VANDERMARK. On Oct. 13, 1940 he married Helen GROSSNICKLE, who survives. He served two terms as the North Manchester Town Board chairman. He was a volunteer fire fighter, serving as Assistant Chief and Chief, a member and past chairman of the North Manchester Planning Commission and a past president of the North Manchester Kiwanis Club. At the first Brethren Church, he served as Sunday school teacher, trustee, Sunday school superintendant, chorister and choir member. He was Past Worth Patron of Ivy Chapter No. 69, Order of Eastern Star, American Legion Post No. 286, Republican precinct committeeman and delegate to the Republican State Convention. He was a Boy Scout leader and committeeman, member of the Firecracker League at Sycamore Golf Club and former member of Shrine Club, Scottish Rite, and the Masonic Lodge. Surviving with his wife are one son, D, James VANDERMARK, Akron; two daughters, Mrs. Neil (Nancy) TATE, North Manchester and Mrs. Jerry (Judy) JUDJAHN, Phoenix, Ariz.; two brothers, Elgie VANDERMARK, Rochester; Orie VANDERMARK, Lake Placid, Fla. one sister, Helen ELLER, Melbourne Beach, Fla.; six grandchildren and four step-grandchildren. Preceding in death was one sister. Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at DeLaughter-McKee Mortuary, North Manchester, with Pastor Marlin McCANN officiating. Burial will be in the Oaklawn Cemetery, North Manchester. Friends may call from 2-8 p.m. Tuesday. Memorials may be made to Wabash County Cancer Society or the Deacons fund at the First Brethre Church.
