Description	:	Oscar Hill was born 10 Ib at 6am in the morning on the 4th line in the house to Louis Hill and Sarah McCutcheon. He married Viola Neumann 1949 and Vema Luella Pearson 2003. Viola and Oscar had three kids Jim, John and Judy. Oscar was an A class Machinist obtain this from the Canadian Air Force scoring 100% on the exam he had the privilege of dancing with the Queen of England and was stationed in England to make parts for the Land Caster Boomer Aircraft. Oscar moved to Horning's Mills, Melanchthon twp. in the May 1 1950 were he purchase local village black smith shop from the Redick family compete with the community well. He setting up a repair business called "Oscar Hill and son's". it was a hard go at first. Oscar said "until he had a break were a twp. grader broke its blade and he was ask if he could weld it back together. Shortly after farmer's around the area soon came to Oscar for farm equipment repairs along with his son Jim they obtain deals to sell Dave Brown tractors. Oscar soon had a booming business in the summer and fall months and in the winter he spent his time in Florida with his wife Viola. Oscar was well known by the community and afar too. He loved to play Violin and made one as well. He had may Grand kids and Great Grand kid who will continue to tell the story of Grandpa Oscar; His humors stories and just fun to be around. Even the animal liked him. I think if the family got together we could write volumes of Book on the stories and practical joke he played on people. He move from Horning's Mills to Rodney, Ontario and then to Collingwood. Ontario where Viola Neumann past away 2002. Oscar through is daughter Judy who connected Oscar to Vema again an old school sweet heart and they were married 2003 and she past away 2011 and Oscar passed away 2015 as a result of a fall in the oak's nursing home. Oscar had grey eye colour.
