Description	:	Oscar E. Melton, 91, Ottumwa, died Saturday afternoon May 22, 1976 at the home of his son, Floyd, in Fairfield. A retired employe of John Deere Ottumwa Works, he was born Aug.8, 1884 in Floris to Oliver and Mary Ellen Hobbs Melton. In June 1902 he married Ina A. Garmon, She survives. Also surviving are two sons, Floyd of Fairfield and Robert of Garden Grove, Calif.; nine grandchildren; five great- grandchildren; and two brothers, Weaver of Pulaski and Emery of Bloomfield.
