Description	:	Oscar F. Goodwin died Sunday at Memorial hospital after being hospitalized since early November when he suffered a heart attack. Mr. Goodwin was born in Missouri, the son of John and Rebecca Goodwin. He spent his youth in Missouri where he received his formal education and in the 1890's moved with his family to Omaha, Nebraska, where on Nov. 27, 1899, he was united in marriage with Miss Mabel Claire Fullerton. Goodwin died Sunday at Memorial hospital after being hospitalized since early November when he suffered a heart attack. Mr. Goodwin was born in Missouri, the son of John and Rebecca Goodwin. He spent his youth in Missouri where he received his formal education and in the 1890's moved with his family to Omaha, Nebraska, where on Nov. 27, 1899, he was united in marriage with Miss Mabel Claire Fullerton. To this union were born 14 children, all of whom survive. His wife preceded him in death in 1937. In 1924, Mr. Goodwin moved his family to a farm five miles west of Douglas and with the exception of a few short periods made his home here until his death. Survivors include six sons, Roy of Meridan, Ida.; Jess of San Carlos, Calif.; William of Wheatland, John of Boise, Ida.; Ben of Ridgefield, Wash. and Arthur of Tucson, Ariz.; eight daughters, Mrs. Florence Stoner and Mrs. Marguerite Spracklen of Douglas, Mrs. Laura Jepson of Polson, Mont.; Mrs. Claire Jepson of Riverton, Mrs. Hazel Hubbard of Bueno Vista, Colo.; Mrs. Maxine Thompson of Bozeman, Mont.; Mrs. Pauline Stine of Medford, Oreg.; and Mrs. Afton Owens of Colorado Springs, Colo.; one brother, Sam of Boise, Ida.; and a sister, Mrs. Lurana Hardesty of Henry, Neb.; 32 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
