Description	:	Funeral services for Oscar T. Borseth, 79, father of Mrs. Sterling Sanden and Mrs. Doris Duhn, Lake Mills, were held Thursday at Immanuel Lutheran Church, Forest City. The Rev. Olaf Holen conducted the rites. Burial was in Winnebago Lutheran Cemetery, Lake Mills. Mr. Borseth died Monday, Feb. 17 at Forest City Municipal Hospital where he had been a patient 10 days. He had planned to enter Lake Mills Nursing Home the previous Saturday. Born Nov. 30, 1889 he was the son of Martin and Anna Borseth. He was baptized Dec. 25, 1889 by the Rev. K. E. Bakken at Springfield Lutheran Church, Decorah and was confirmed Nov. 11, 1906 at Linden Lutheran Church by the Rev. C. S. Salveson. He married Marie Hagen Oct. 30, 1913. They farmed in Winnebago County until they retired and moved to Forest City. Since the death of his wife in June, 1963, Mr. Borseth had lived alone. He was also preceded in death by a son, Amory, in April, 1961, one brother and two sisters. Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Leonard (Irene) Pletcher, Dodge Center, Minn., Mrs. Doris Duhn and Mrs. Sterling (Bonnie) Sanden, Lake Mills; three sons, Melvin, Garner, Vernon, Milwaukee and Orville, Long Branch, N. J.; 13 grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Gust Hagen, Forest City; three brothers, Iver, Northwood, Adolph, McIntosh, Minn., and John, Fosston, Minn.
